In January of 2020, all motor carriers will begin using the FMCSA Commercial Driver’s License Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.  The Clearinghouse is a secure, online database that will improve safety on our Nation’s roadways by giving employers real-time information about CDL holders’ drug and alcohol program violations. Drivers will be required to register with the Clearinghouse. Employers will be required to query the database for all new hires, as well as once a year for existing drivers. We will be sending out a waiver for current drivers to sign and return by Jan. 1, 2020. We appreciate your cooperation. Here is a link to the FMCSA website if you have any further questions:

You must sign and return the waiver form no later than January 5, 2020. This form is required by the Department of Transportation. If the company does not have it by the deadline date, you will be unqualified to drive effective 1/6/2020.

Please don't delay on getting the waiver form into the office. Thanks!
